What Is Veganism?

People often mistake veganism as simply being a diet, but while being vegan has certain dietary restrictions, it is most importantly, a lifestyle. Vegans abstain from eating animal products (like dairy, eggs, meat, and fish) or using animal products (like fur, feathers, and leather) of any kind.


The idea of veganism is to inflict the least amount of harm possible to other creatures and the environment.

While this lifestyle comes with a lot of restrictions, it is important to remember that veganism is not about being perfect; instead, veganism is about doing the best you can under the circumstances you are given.
